As far as we are concerned our objective of being released from our Timeshare membership has thankfully been achieved. Despite going into it with, fairly, open eyes there should still be some recourse within the law to allow release from these memberships as and when circumstances require it, or at least upon death! One thing we were shocked to be told by Akeld is that our children would be liable after we were gone! I assume this was a lie. With regard to further compensation I had no particular hope of this materialising so, notwithstanding our deep regret that Mrs Allan has got away with her devious and bullying tactics and poor business performance, we accept the advice that it would not be cost effective to take matters any further. Please pass on our kind regards to Sarah and the whole team for their monumental efforts in bringing this sorry tale to a final conclusion. My friend ad I owned both RCI resort points, and RCI points. We had tried previously and unsuccessfully to extricate ourselves from these commitments. We then heard of Sarah Waddington Solicitors. We discussed Sarah Waddington Solicitors, with a solicitor, and was informed that not anyone can call themselves solicitors. He checked and informed us that Sarah Waddington was a genuine and bonifide solicitor. At our initial interview that was both free and in no way pressurised we felt confident to proceed. We were explained both the procedures and costs involved. We were also allowed to pay a deposit with the balance to be taken over a 10 month period, with no interest costs. Sarah Waddington managed both to get rid of all of our RCI points and to resign membership of RCI.
