You may have read recently about the recent outcome of the proceedings in the Upper Tribunal, in which Barclays Partner Finance have agreed to repay timeshare consumers £48 million. The proceedings related to finance agreements provided by Barclays Partner Finance to consumers for the purchase of timeshare products from Azure between 2014 and 2016.
There is a great deal of misinformation being spread by companies and businesses, who are not legally qualified, who are making promises to consumers that cannot be kept.
Barclays Partner Finance confirmed that there are over 7,000 affected agreements which were written for Timeshare owners from 2004 until 2016, all of which may be unenforceable. These agreements, some of which are worth over £100,000 for some owners could be eligible for a full refund.
